The Department Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks related to supporting the operation of the TPC Cash and Carry store in Davenport, Iowa. In this position you will: Receive incoming stock items at the loading dock and transport to staging area. Inspect items for damage, perform quality checks and temperature checks, verify lot numbers and take appropriate action as needed. Rotate date sensitive stock to the front of the rack (FIFO) and remove outdated inventory according to company policy. Work with refrigerated and frozen product. Perform inventory counts. Assist customers with selections. Handle daily cash applications including tender of customer orders, collect cash, check, and credit card payments and responsible for end of day drawer balance. Select customer orders for will-call. Perform general housekeeping duties, Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 6+ months experience working in a food warehouse, grocery or retail environment. Available to work any hours the store is open: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Ability to lift products to stock shelves. Great customer service skills.
