Must be able to communicate with Operations and Engineering (mine plan, design, etc).Must be able to manage time accordingly to meet operation needs. Both solo and with team membersConventional traverse surveying and generation of development layouts (cutsheets for face advance), control points, line and grade calculations with use of lasers, completion scans for volume determination, mark-up of production rings, drill hole collars, etc.Generate appropriate emails for information sharing around stopes or other mining processesOrganize daily workload and effectively communicate progress on a daily passdownDemonstrate ability to use surveying equipment, including Vulcan and Deswik softwaresDemonstrate ability to take-on additional projects as new technologies or systems are introducedDemonstrate ability to work with Excel (formulas, troubleshooting, and formatting)Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation through honest and open communicationDemonstrate ability and willingness to train othersPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:College Degree or Certificatepreferred1 year previous underground survey experiencepreferredPrevious experience with Leica survey instruments and softwarepreferredPrevious experience with Deswik or Vulcan softwarepreferredPrevious experience with Microsoft office suitepreferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentpreferredBe proactive and able to communicate concernspreferredBe able to communicate across different departmentspreferredBe able to lift 50 lbsrequiredValid U.S. driver's licenserequiredWhat we can Offer YouA comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
