Develops associated advertising campaigns for the brand.This role in summaryKitchenAid is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Global Marketing Manager to join the global KitchenAid small appliance team based in Benton Harbor, MI. The Global Marketing Manager reports into the Sr. Manager, Global Marketing and will be responsible for setting the marketing strategy and leading the creative development for all projects in their product category. Ideal candidates will be passionate brand builders who thrive working cross functionally, balancing the needs of many parties and synthesizing many inputs to create the best outcome. They will work collaboratively with the broader global marketing group, regional marketing teams, product marketing teams, and internal and external agencies. Your responsibilities will includeSet the strategic and creative development for the assigned product category. Responsible for creating and distributing (and ensuring implementation) of the Global Playbooks for this categoryApply global brand strategies to new product launches - delivering differentiated and ownable consumer platformsWork closely with the product marketing team to help develop consumer-meaningful innovation, including leading claim generation for new projectsEstablish communication hierarchy to drive relevant consumer messages across all touch-points and align strategy with cross-functional process partnersWork with regional marketing teams to set the proper go to market strategy for your category, including budget, creative, and asset recommendationsCollaborate with the insights team across the entire journey to ensure we have the right positioning, claims, creative articulation, etcParticipate in broader strategic imperatives for the businessPartner with key stakeholders across the business including product market, global consumer design, KitchenAid majors/masterbrand, ecommerce and all regional partnersTravel 10-15% of the time, including internationallyMinimum requirementsBachelor's degree 6+ years of advertising, marketing, brand management or agency experiencePreferred skills and experiencesMasters DegreeExperience developing product positioning and launching new products across integrated marketing campaignsExperience leveraging data and trends to generate insights and transform them into marketing strategiesPrevious P&L OwnershipGlobal business experienceAdditional informationWhirlpool's Ways of WorkingOur goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
