Job Description:We are excited to add a crucial role to our team! As the General Sales Manager at Don Wood CDJR, you will lead our sales team in delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and driving overall dealership growth. Your role is pivotal in managing all aspects of the sales department while spearheading initiatives to optimize inventory, leasing, used car reconditioning, social media presence, converting leads to appointments, and identifying areas for expansion.
Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to our sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to succeed.Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance, product knowledge, and sales techniques.Set clear sales targets and track individual and team progress, offering coaching and support as needed.Inventory Management:
Oversee the ordering and management of inventory, ensuring the right mix of vehicles to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.Monitor inventory levels, aging, and turn rates, making data-driven decisions to optimize stocking levels and minimize holding costs.Leasing Expertise:
Utilize expertise in leasing to develop and implement leasing strategies that appeal to customers and drive sales.Train sales team members on leasing options and best practices to effectively communicate leasing advantages to customers.Used Car Reconditioning:
Coordinate the reconditioning process for used cars, ensuring vehicles meet quality standards and are ready for sale.Develop efficient reconditioning processes to minimize turnaround time and maximize profitability.Social Media Presence:
Build and maintain a strong social media presence for the dealership, engaging with customers and promoting our brand and inventory.Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the dealership and increase sales opportunities.Lead Conversion:
Utilize CRM system effectively to manage leads and track their progress through the sales funnel.Implement strategies to convert leads into appointments, ensuring a high appointment show rate.Growth Opportunities:
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and dealership performance to identify areas of opportunity for growth.Collaborate with dealership leadership to develop and implement strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities and expand market reach.Join our team at Don Wood CDJR and play a key role in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and growing our dealership to new heights!

Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).Previous experience in automotive sales management, with expertise in inventory management, leasing, and used car reconditioning.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in dealership management software, CRM systems, and social media platforms.Deep understanding of automotive industry trends, products, and regulations.
