Holy Name High School - A Chesterton Academy is seeking a full time Latin and Humanities Teacher for the ******** school year. In addition to middle school and high school Latin the teacher may also be responsible for other humanities classes based on interest and proficiency (examples include: history, philosophy, literature, spanish, and theology).A bachelor's degree in Classics, Literature, History, or a related field is required. Teaching experience of various kinds is also preferred.Preference will be given to practicing Catholics, but all teachers must take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and possess a record of contributing to the mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty at Chesterton Academy participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness.
