Responsibilities
• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner• Manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and expense control• Ensure department is merchandised according to community needs• Design and make floral arrangements for all occasions• Stock and rotate department products for freshness• Operate department equipment and tools• Keep work area clean and free from safety hazards• Report any faulty equipment and hazards to management• Notify management of theft, shoplifting, or any illegal activity• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be 18 years of age• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently• Must have authorization to work in the United States• Successful completion of drug testing and background check• Preferred experience in creating floral arrangements• High standard of integrity and reliability• Must comply with all company policies and procedures• Possession of Florist Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
