FITNESS MANAGER AT ANYTIME FITNESS Locations: West Hartford, Glastonbury, Cromwell, Ellington, Somers, Farmington, Granby, Newington, Windsor, Southington, Wilton, and Canton, CT. POSITION SUMMARY An Anytime Fitness Fitness Manager (FM) is responsible for helping all members "get to a healthier place." In addition to training clients themselves, the FM's ultimate responsibility is to coach the trainers to success. Coaching areas include programing, sales, and service. The FM also serves as a 'guidance counselor' to all members of the club, 'educator and mentor' for all training staff, and 'strategist' for the Club Director. The FM's is responsible for managing the Member Onboarding Process which includes conducting the fitness consultation, determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member, and managing the retention score to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member. While skills in training and programming are important, the FM will function more as the sales manager and leader of the fitness department. The FM must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to drive an overall productive and efficient fitness department for their respective club.

REQUIREMENTS 3 Fitness Certifications including a Certified Personal Training certificate with any of the following accrediting bodies: NASM, NSCA, ACSM, WITS, AFFA, ACE, ISSA and/or a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field Progressive success within the fitness environment Management experience
