You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.A Brief OverviewThe Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for efficiently providing detailed analytical support to senior management to improve business performance. The person in this position provides financial and operational analytics, budgeting and forecasting, trend analysis, business insights, and recommendations based on advanced financial analysis. The primary focus of this role is analyzing financial and non-financial data to further enhance the Company's client lifetime value models & disseminate information to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in analyzing big data sets, an understanding of key financial concepts and the fundamentals of general accounting. This is an individual contributor role.LocationsUnited States (Remote)What you will doWorking within a team environment, the position is responsible for designing, modifying and enhancing data models to drive better business insights. Analyze data to identify trends, answer stakeholder questions to support various business decisions. This includes developing new analyses and improving reports and metrics to better support decision-making processes.Serve as a primary point of contact for Finance Leadership for understanding revenue, cost and profitability drivers – both at a corporate and client level.Analyze financial results and prepare financial reports and dashboards.Actively engage in the ongoing improvement of TriNet's financial, planning and business intelligence systems.Develop expertise in navigating within and improving Tableau and Anaplan applications Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as identified by management teamEducation QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience-Required Experience QualificationsTypically 8+ years experience in financial planning and analysis-Required Typically 3+ years experience in Public Company reporting-Required Experience with Tableau, Essbase and/or Anaplan-Required Understanding of PEO business, CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value) and Insurance concepts and metrics-PreferredSkills and AbilitiesHighly detail oriented and organized. Working knowledge of MS Office applications having advanced level Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint, and basic Word. Good presentation skills with the ability to work closely with senior management. Knowledge working in Tableau, Oracle Cloud (ERP, HCM, EPBCS) and/or Anaplan. Highest standards of accuracy and precision. Experience building financial models. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are-Required. Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-task, fast-paced environment. Licenses and CertificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA)-Preferred Certified Management Accountant (CMA)-Preferred Travel RequirementsMinimalWork EnvironmentWork in clean, pleasant, and comfortable home or office setting.
