Job Responsibilities:
- Stay abreast of federal and state financial regulations and serve as a resource for campuses during financial audits and operational activities.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Provide support and training to campuses on financial management tools and processes.
- Develop and maintain financial reports to aid in decision-making and budgeting.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience with financial systems like Workday
- Experience in Grants Management or Spend/Procurement in higher education
- Ability to work remotely
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday Financials
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
- Proficiency in multiple financial domains
- Strong experience in assessing and implementing finance-related business processes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with effective task management abilities
- Ability to make informed decisions and resolve issues efficiently
- Proficiency in structuring work and providing direction to achieve desired outcomes
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Commensurate with experience and education)
