DESCRIPTION The Selling Partner Services (SPS) team operates the business, technology and seller services that make Amazon the best place on Earth for 3rd party sellers to start and grow a global business. Today, the vast majority of those sellers choose to do so trusting Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to fully manage their selection from the factory floor to the customer door, allowing sellers to leverage the power of Amazon's global fulfillment network.

This Finance Manager will play a key role in increasing Amazon overall seller experience by driving policy changes and process improvements working along with the business team. In this role, you will work on complex financial models that touch every aspect of our fulfillment operations and influence decision making to manage Amazon profitability as well as our Selling Partners experience. You will interact with our global teams and partner with software development engineers, operations product and program managers and international finance teams. The successful candidate will have a controllership mindset and is focused on eliminating waste while creating, developing, and driving solutions that lead to a richer end to end Seller experience.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with WW FBA senior leadership, product team and other stakeholders to provide financial recommendations
- Drive the core financial processes for the business including annual operating plans, 3-year strategic plan, long range plan and Monthly/Quarterly business reviews
- Generate insights from financial data, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and communicate findings with the leadership team to drive business actions
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
- Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies
A day in the life
As the Finance Manager, you will work closely with multiple business teams including the fee strategy teams, controllership, WW FBA leadership, corporate finance and program teams helping to improve drive Amazon Cost to Serve lower while maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for leading complex financials analysis by engaging cross functional teams to help leadership in shaping future products and policies.
About the team
Our WW FBA FP&A team is involved in all aspects of the business from GMS to Operating Profit. We work closely with the business and are integral to ensuring the right mechanisms are in place and the most appropriate information is being presented that highlights actionable insights.
