As a Field Service Engineer, you are the eyes and ears of Videojet when providing service and support through customer interactions.
We are a close-knit team across many locations. With an office-based technical support team, our Field Service Engineers are never 'on their own'.

Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology. To be successful in this role you will: Problem-solve using available resources and creative solutions to resolve customer issues and will know when to ask for help Partner with customers to assess their needs, manage their expectations, and drive results Proactively listen to customers, anticipate their needs, follow through, and work towards a mutually agreeable solution Collaborate with teammates, managers and customers Requirements Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends) Up to two years of technical experience Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word) Compliance with PPE, safety and registration requirements of customers. Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation, including but not limited to: Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, walking and kneeling. Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time. Use of hand tools and manual dexterity. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
