Responsibilities
• Review work orders, specifications, or instructions• Clear jams and readjust machine components• Set-up and tear down extrusion tooling• Maintain records and data log sheets• Replace worn or broken parts• Ensure general upkeep and maintenance of extrusion area
Requirements
• Complete required hours as a Material Handler, Compound Handler, and Tool and Die• Have knowledge of tooling maintenance, tool change-over, and extrusion tool components• Be familiar with QA procedures and quality logs• Proficient in use of calipers and other measuring devices• Knowledge of different types of profiles and weather-strip units• Ability to assist Extrusion Operators
