The Executive Decision Support Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with expense analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.Responsibilities:Manage forward looking expense processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results against plans monthlyLead coordination and preparation of Senior Management expense presentation material and talking points for internal or external meetingsLead a team in conducting month-end close processes including the consolidation of expense flash estimates, monitoring general ledger bookings, and creating detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior managementGenerate expense analytics for quarter end flash results, related highlights, board of directors reports, and executive management reports as well as contribute to quarterly competitor reviews, quarterly annotated supplement, and quarterly investment reportsLead Production and presentation of comprehensive expense management information for relevant businesses, maintaining a strong understanding of underlying drivers behind the numbers Prepare/present to senior management and stakeholders on using metrics to evaluate and drive business decisionsImplement financial initiatives and manage work of the department ensuring appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in placePartner with the revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or controlLead ad-hoc analysis for Citi Senior Management by performing one-time reviews and analysis on areas of Management focusAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:15+ years of relevant experience8-10+ years of managerial experienceExperience in financial servicesHighly articulate in verbal presentations and written communications, with ability to adapt the style to suit the audienceSuperior problem-solving abilities, project management, teamwork, quantitative aptitude and the ability to effectively synthesise and communicate complex business issuesStrong communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior level executivesDemonstrated financial modeling skills with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational planConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationAbility to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organizationDemonstrated leadership skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Finance------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Financial Planning & Analysis------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$170,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
