We're seeking an Excavator Operator in Lexington, KY !
The Excavator Operator uses heavy equipment to install underground utilities to depths of greater than 20 feet.
We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license , and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout. The starting pay is $24.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience. What You'll Do: Perform thorough check-ups and safety sweeps of equipment, notifying the supervisor of any equipment concerns. Become a pro at setting up different trench shoring systems, adding your touch of expertise to every project. Determine the best way to tackle each project, whether its handling sewer systems, storm drains, water mains, or force mains (excavation may include high water environments). Follow the lead of your Foreman and Superintendent, using your assigned equipment to tackle tasks efficiently. Keep the lines of communication open and clear with your crew and supervisors. Operate excavator equipment while prioritizing safety and effectiveness. Keep an eye on every step of the operation to maintain our high standards of quality and safety. A valid drivers license required with clean motor vehicle report is required. Travel by automobile and airplane required. Comfortable working in outside weather conditions at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and moderate noise levels. Physical Demands: Regularly lift, push, pull and move up to 75 pounds. Use pneumatic, battery powered or electric tools.
