ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Deliver 'Unparalleled Hospitality' to each customer Capable of being trained to work each position in the cafe Successfully complete the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program Ensure each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards Use tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, and control inventory Responsible for either opening or closing the store to standards Handle cash and follow cash handling procedures Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in a food service is strongly preferred Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines Preferred prior/current Serv-Safe certification (or equivalent) Current SNHD Food Handlers Card PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions WORKING CONDITIONS Most shifts are between six to eight hours, but this may vary PM Crew can expect to work early evening to closing, weekend and/or holiday hours, and may have additional closing responsibilities Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!
