ESTIMATOR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The Estimator will oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications
* Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop multi-disciplinary estimates
* Determine labor and equipment costs
* Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
* Understand project logistics and project schedule
* Understand all bid documents and assess project risks
* Review quotes and estimates with the project team
* Prepare estimates and different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
* Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers
* Serve as company interface between owner & architect
* Responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs and project team
ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience with sole estimating responsibility
* Advanced computer skills with estimating software
* Effective presentation skills
* Advanced Computer skills with MS Office
* Knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
* Understand all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects/interiors
