Engineering Technician Ii

Description SAIC is seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solver to perform the following responsibilities in Charleston, SC:  Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables. Reading and interpreting drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components. Identifying and reporting design or fitment issues and working with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.  Providing technical support during system testing. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of related experience.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).  Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. DESIRED SKILLS : 
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and be able to take direction and constructive criticism. REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
