Our Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an engineering intern to join the team.
Position Requirements: Prepare basic drawings using information given by engineers, designers or architects. Assist with field investigations to determine existing conditions Assist in the preparation of construction cost estimates and/or quantity take-off. Assist in drafting design solutions for routine issues. Assist in the preparation of various permit packages. Tabulate data using computer spreadsheets and CAD Assist in coordination of all projects and work with designers or engineers. Education: Actively enrolled in an applicable field of study. Basic computer ability in using technical software. Basic understanding of engineering and scientific concepts. Attention to detail. Good written and oral expression in English Preferred Skills/Experience: Basic knowledge of the CAD platforms in use.
