JOB PURPOSE
JVM is seeking a skilled Engineer I to join our team and perform a full range of Engineering services with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 (South Central) serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under close supervision, perform a variety of routine tasks related to environmental projects including investigation of air, water, and solid/hazardous waste management issues, health, and safety compliance, and assists in permitting.
Under close supervision, perform routine or non-routine investigations, calculations, and simple engineering assignments (original work based on

manuals/engineering

principles or based on designs of others).
May perform routine field work including sample collection and field measurements.
Assists in the preparation of project reports, permit applications, remedial action plans, closure plans, health and safety plans, QA/QC documents, and other project-specific reports.
Receives specific and detailed instruction as to required tasks and results expected.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering
No experience required.
