Job Summary Seeking EN PDP Designer Professional XXVI role with expertise in designing piping supports, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with AISC & ASME B31.3 standards. Proficient in structural analysis using programs like ME150 (FAPPS) or GT STRUDL, and experienced in using Pipe Support Modeler software, with prior Company and DOD/DOE project experience.
Job Description Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations. Candidate should be familiar with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3. Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress and other support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. Prior experience should include working in a 3D model environment. Skills Required Strong knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards Prior experience using structural analysis programs. Prior experience using pipe stress analysis programs ME150 (FAPPS) or GT STRUDL Prior experience using Pipe Support Modeler software. Previous Company project experience Previous DOD/DOE project experience Education/Training/Certifications BS degree with 9 years of related experience. Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge) PE Registration Additional Requirements Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education. Must be US Citizen. This position is a full-time role in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off.
