Are you a seasoned HR professional with a knack for handling employee relations issues and expertise in managing leave of absence programs? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Employee Relations Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including but not limited to conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
Manage leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while providing support and guidance to employees and managers.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, maintaining confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.
Collaborate with HR business partners and legal counsel to develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, with a focus on leave of absence management.
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
SHRM certification is a plus.
