As an elementary school teacher assistant at Vanguard Classical School, you will play a vital role in guiding students on their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Implementing the Core Knowledge Curriculum Sequence using classical teaching methods to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. Developing and delivering lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Assessing student progress and maintaining accurate gradebooks to track academic achievement. Providing timely feedback to students and parents to support academic growth and development. Fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and integrity by enforcing school rules and expectations of honor, achievement, world citizenship, and kindness. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the overall success of the school community. Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends and best practices.
