We're seeking a skilled EMC Engineer for a unique, tailored mission.

Provide E3 support throughout the total life cycle of Navy systems and ships from preacquisition through sustainment.
Support encompasses upfront EMC engineering during development, RF characterization testing for accurate high fidelity E3 analyses and testing, shipboard and land based, with subsystems and systems to access and quantify integration risk in the operational EME.
Development of custom RF components and implementation of concepts of operations such as frequency management options to mitigate EMI risks with new and installed systems in both ship construction new and in service ship designs.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
This position operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.
TRAVEL:
May require occasional travel.
CLEARANCE:

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred. *** Minimum Secret is required upon application for initial consideration.
CERTIFICATION :
Spectrum, EMC, or RADHAZ Certification

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering.
6 years or more of equivalent DoD Service experience as an E-4 or above in a related technical role can substitute for a bachelor's degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
4 years' general experience in Engineering & Science; Research, Development, Test & Evaluation; or Science & Technology.
Experience with RDT&E or Integration related to shipboard systems related or warfare systems or electronic systems.
· Demonstrated experience in one or more specific areas below:
EMI/EMC analysis and assessment;
E3 instructions, standards, policies, and procedures;
Defense Acquisition Engineering;
E3/EMI/EMC Testing;
EMI problem investigation;
EMI PMS;
USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP);
EMI Control and Mitigation;
EMI Control Measure Drawings;
SEMCIP Technical Assistance.
