Job summary

Responsibilities
• Modification and repair of bundles at partner sites with the following duties• Understand and implement instructions such as work orders, diagrams, form boards, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.• Perform direct rework of connectors, back shells, wire terminations, splices, split rings, lugs and other components built in a wire harness• Wrap and tie wires• Route wires according to engineering specifications• Change routing/breakouts• Perform Electrical Tests• Maintain tools in good condition• Complete associated paperwork• Incorporation of engineering change according to the configuration required by the customer• Assist with the training of other technicians when needed• Engage in improvement activities including participation in lean six sigma initiatives• Ability to stretch into leadership roles in teaching and coaching practical activities for new technicians• Adhere to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture• Regular, predictable attendance is required• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.• Must have 2-4 years of Wiring experience or a combination of experience and training.• Basic ability to complete new hire training requirement• Advanced wiring knowledge• Expert ability to work in a team environment using interpersonal skills
