Overview:
Summary:
The Electrical Specialist position is an hourly position, and reports to the Electrical Supervisor. The employee acts as a process expert for this multi-functional craft dealing with electrical, electronic, and instrument specialist responsibilities. This includes reacting to process and equipment issues, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as eliminating special cause variation while driving safety & quality and optimizing plant efficiency.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Cooperates with others to plan and perform operational maintenance to machinery and equipment associated with plant operations.
Performs precision work utilizing machines, equipment and measuring instruments of this multi-functional job.
Utilizes journeyman multi-functional electrical, electronic, and instrument functions in order to preserve and optimize plant assets and to meet the needs of manufacturing.
Provides support to other craft and non-craft employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
Utilizes computer expertise to complete records and reports and manage data (includes SAP, Rockwell Automation, work orders, failure & trend analysis sheets, checklists, requisitions, audit sheets, etc.).
Uses forklift, manlift, scissor lift, and other aerial lifting devices.
Ensures a safe work environment through following safety protocols, performing general housekeeping tasks and attention to detail.
Provides support in the training of new employees.

Shift Schedule (Rotating Shift):
7am-7pm (3 days on)
3 days off
7pm-7am (3 nights on)
3 days off
Pay Rate:
Training Rate: $36.03
Certified Rate: $38.38
$1.00/hour night shift differential
Overtime pay received for hours worked outside of scheduled shift
Differential pay received for hours worked on Sundays (scheduled or unscheduled)

Requirements Include :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be a US citizen
Must be 18 years or older
4+ years experience in industrial electrical environment
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Available to work rotating shifts
