As part of our commitment to innovation, we are seeking a skilled R&D Electrician to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in plastics recycling.

As an R&D Electrician at Clearly Clean, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our research and development efforts in plastics recycling technology. You will work closely with our engineering and research teams to design, implement, and maintain electrical systems integral to our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement electrical systems for pilot-scale and full-scale recycling equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions for process optimization and automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of machinery.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical components to uphold safety standards and prevent equipment failures.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Participate in R&D projects to evaluate new technologies, materials, and processes for potential integration into our manufacturing operations.
Document procedures, specifications, and technical data to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and plastics recycling technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of R&D projects and achieve business objectives.
Uphold a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of work.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a focus on equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control systems.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation technologies is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Work Environment:
The role is on-site at our manufacturing plant in Frackville, PA. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm ET with some work required outside of typical hours on an as-needed basis.
