System One is partnering with a local HVAC manufacturer to hire an Electrical Designer. Pay for the position varies depending on experience but will ideally be in the $70-85k range. Qualifications:
Must have proven working experience as an Electrical Designer or Drafter.
Must have knowledge of relevant codes and programming.
A background in HVAC or oil and gas is not necessary but would be helpful to this role. 
Must be proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. 
Job Description:
Will act as a project manager over designated projects. 
Generate and oversee design packages inclusive of preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables, along with engineering calculations.
Create detailed drawings from layouts, designs, and working drawings, ensuring inclusion of essential projections, sectional views, and specifications.
Initiate designs based on written or verbal directives.
Conduct critical electrical load calculations including cable sizing, conduit sizing and voltage drop.
Develop or assist in crafting control circuits for instrument components, logic controllers, and relays.
Ensure the accuracy of drawings prepared by peers.
Prepare and adjust parts lists, procurement lists, BOMs in sync with engineering modifications.
Implement change control and revisions in accordance with company standards, under senior-level guidance.
