Electrical Construction Department Manager

BASE SALARY RANGE: $130-140k + WORLD CLASS BENEFIT PACKAGE!! RELOCATION WILL BE CONSIDERED Freelance Recruiters is excited to partner with a growing construction firm in SE Wisconsin to find its next Electrical Construction Manager. A key contributor to their leadership team, this role will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction department within their organization.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of electrical construction projects, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. The Department Manager will lead a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Field Superintendent(s), and Field Foremen. They will coordinate project activities and pursue continuous improvement in all areas. This position partners with the Vice President of Preconstruction through the entire project lifecycle, and proactively develops new business opportunities and relationships with current and potential customers.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of proven experience in electrical construction including project management and team leadership roles. Strong project and people management leadership skills. Experience managing project finances - from RFP, to budgeting, to forecasting, to in-project analysis. Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.
