Our facility is located in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity in an Automation Technician position on 1st shift.
Automation Technician - Role Opportunities: Modifying existing PLC and HMI applications to meet customer requirements (C-more, PVP+, FT Studio) Assembly of control panels and electrical sub-assemblies Assist with startup and debug of electrical / mechanical equipment Respond to service calls at customer locations Assist in selecting and integrating sensors, PLCs, Drives, HMIs, etc. Complete CAD markups / Redline Design / modification of small systems with support of Controls Engineer. Robotic troubleshooting and robotic painting programs Modify existing robot programs (Fanuc, ABB) Troubleshooting of paint peripheral equipment Respond to service calls at customer locations Working with project managers, mechanical engineers, and Controls and Automation to meet project timelines Skills & Experience: Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering / Automation Systems Preferred 2 or more years' experience programming PLCs (Allen Bradley)2 or more years' experience troubleshooting electrical systems 2 or more years' experience with low voltage and high voltage 3 phase systems Ability to read and modify electrical prints using AutoCAD Basic understanding of industrial network infrastructures, Ethernet/IP Good interpersonal skills Competent in various PC related skills including MS Excel, MS Word, email, and the Internet Possess the ability to interact in a team environment with customers, other employees, and groups Robot (Fanuc, ABB) troubleshooting and programming a plus.
