Education Administrative Assistant (Real Estate Commission) Location Lexington County, SC : JOB Responsibilities You will provide technical and specialized professional and administrative duties for the Real Estate Commission with a focus on licensee education and course curriculum of education providers.You will assist the Education Manager with evaluating and processing applications of real estate schools, courses, and instructors as well as evaluating continuing education courses for content.You will provide administrative assistance to course providers and instructors with regulatory information and documentation for education programs. You will serve as the main point of contact for the vendor for state licensing exams and process monthly audits to ensure properly certification of licensees.You will be responsible for reviewing the Real Estate Commission's website pages for continuing education and pre-licensing education content and maintain the continuing education course calendar. You will provide a variety of other administrative assistance including processing license applications, responding to customer inquiries received through walk-ins, telephone calls, e-mails, and other methods, updating forms, and researching information and materials. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Four (4) years of experience that is directly related to the area of employment.Strong customer service skills and experience performing administrative functions.Considerable knowledge and skill in the use of office equipment and computers. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to understand and follow complex instructions. Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft products. Strong organizational skills. Other Requirements Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.May require occasional work outside of normal office hours.May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
