Responsibilities
• Facilitate teacher licensure processes according to policies and procedures• Serve as the Licensure Program Lead and represent ICD in the Office of Teacher Education• Coordinate student teaching and field experience placements• Oversee early childhood education program review• Provide consultation with staff hiring and development• Serve as University Supervisor for field work and student teaching courses• Collaborate with OTE to facilitate placements of teacher candidates• Instruct graduate and undergraduate courses• Develop syllabi for courses aligned with teaching standards• Represent the Early Childhood Programs on committees and task forces
Requirements
• Masters degree in early childhood education• 4 years of teaching experience in early childhood classrooms• Minnesota teaching license in early childhood education• Experience managing multiple tasks and meeting project deadlines• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to collaborate with diverse communities• Ability to provide personal transportation to off-site locations
