Responsibilities
• Unload and verify delivered products at each stop• Drive to predetermined store locations• Plan and make decisions for sequence of operations• Represent company interests and image to customers• Maintain driver log and comply with DOT regulations• Maintain company quality and performance standards• Observe and report unusual conditions and problems• Secure cargo during transit• Inspect vehicles for defects and report equipment condition• Practice good housekeeping
Requirements
• Valid driver's license and current DOT medical certification card• 1 year driving tractor-trailer experience• Effective communication skills• Capable of standing, walking, and climbing into/out of trucks• Ability to work all necessary schedules, including holidays/weekends• Safely operate equipment in various weather conditions• Ability to lift/handle cases ranging from 5-50 pounds
