In addition, the Company has interests in several precious metals' exploration projects throughout North America.Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada is seeking a Shovel & Drill maintenance technician to join our team at the Rochester Mine.Position SummaryMust have advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining Drills, hydraulic Shovels, and various support equipment. Preferable working knowledge of Komatsu and Hitachi face shovels, Epiroc and Cat drills.Performs system diagnostics, replacement, and repairs on, but not limited to electrical hydraulic systems and component replacements and repairs on, but not limited to GET, hydraulic pumps, and motors, engines, electrical systems, gear boxes, undercarriage, compressors, auto lube systems, valves, and hoses.Must have experience with prioritizing and making decisions regarding equipment repairs as needed.Must have experience performing mechanical and lubrication PM's, to include inspections of equipment to check and identify any mechanical and electrical risks. Responsible for accurate troubleshooting and parts ordering, but not limited to accurate completion of work orders as assigned.Must be willing to train and mentor other technicians.May be required to operate equipment such as: forklifts, auto cranes, boom trucks and other small mobile equipment.Knowledge of work management systems.Knowledge of planning and scheduling for major PCR activities.What you will doPerform preventive maintenance routines and inspections.Generate work orders before remedial or repairs are carried out.Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the OEM specifications.Troubleshoot technical and/or operations problems.Perform routine maintenance on all mechanical equipment and ensure effective functioning, including but not limited to Shovels, Drills and Support equipment.Perform a variety of other tasks, such as breakdowns, PM's, and PCR's.Ensure that all Lock-Out/Tag-Out are completed for repair work.Provide information in terms of sufficient repair parts ordering.Carry out inspections and lube system services on all mechanical equipment daily and record all findings from the inspection. Be willing to perform other mechanical duties as required.What We're Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent required.
