Actalent is looking for a Drafter to play a crucial role in transforming concepts into detailed technical drawings and models for an automation company here in the St. Louis area! Skills: Autocad, Drafting Additional Skills & Qualifications: Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using industry-standard software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). Interpret sketches, specifications, and other design documents to produce detailed plans, layouts, and schematics. Generate assembly and part drawings, ensuring adherence to design standards and best practices. Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback and design changes. Maintain organized documentation and version control for all drawings. Assist in creating bills of materials (BOMs) for production and procurement purposes. Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve overall design quality. Qualifications: Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field. Proficiency in 2D drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling (SolidWorks). Strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
