HOW A DNS/DHCP NETWORK ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Configure, administer, document DNS multi-view configuration, DHCP services High level troubleshooting of network, protocols, and application issues IP management DNS, DHCP administration API scripting in python. Linux administration to include scripting and file system management Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University in a Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred but not required) NOTE: If no college degree, then 4 additional years of relevant work experience is required. Required Experience :
8+ years of relevant experience Required Skills & Abilities :
IP management, DNS, DHCP configuration, scripting of API calls. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DNS, DHCP Knowledge of TCP, understanding network, protocol and application traffic flows Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues including IPv6. Network knowledge Network design and implementation Network troubleshooting Tracking budget expenses Project management Problem solving and analytical skills Time-management skills Strong documentation skills LAN knowledge Network hardware configuration Network performance tuning Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers Desired Technical Skills: Experience with APIs, scripting, and Splunk data flows. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
