Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager III of Sales Support & Distribution (SS&D), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), is responsible for a variety of analystical and development assignments associated with SS&D's product distribution and contracts. This position is headquartered in Sacramento and is eligible for either a remote-based or office-based telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires employee residence in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.

Working Conditions Schedule: Monday – Friday (8AM – 5PM) Travel: Travel will be required, as needed, generally not more than two weeks per year. Other: Position will be required to work out of Lottery or vendor facilities and attend in-person meetings. Experience withstrategic budget planning and budget tracking.
Experience with working in project teams.
Experience preparing competitive bids for contracted services. Experience managing and documenting contract performance based on internal controls and key performance indicators. Experience organizing and analyzing complex data sets. Experience analyzing complex programs and/ or contracts. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Experience with research and analytical review.
Experience with report writing and presentations.
