This role sits within the Global Advertising and Brand Management division, which is responsible for driving demand for American Express products and services by getting our world-class brand into the marketplace. The DirectorSponsorshipMeasurement, Insights & Strategyrequires an experienced leader to lead a robust measure and insights process for our sponsorship portfolio leveraging partner and internal data sources. Additionally, they will oversee and manage strategic planning across a growing portfolio of sports and entertainment partnerships.  The ideal candidate is a strong quantitative and analytical skillset and a strategic focus. The ideal candidate also is skilled at influencing stakeholders and managing a high-volume of business operational requests. This role will have2 direct reports, and will report to the VP, Sponsorship Assets, Benefits and Operations. Key responsibilities include:Manage and innovate uponarobustmeasurementprocess for sponsorships, including both financial and survey measurement strategies to translate brand impact to business outcomesDerive actionable and timely portfolio strategic insights, that can be leveraged to inform vertical digital and in-person activation strategiesLeadsponsorship teamoperations, in support of verticalleads across allteamoperations (digital product strategy, creative approvals)Support process developmentand executionwith a cross functional team of agency partners and business partnersServe as a bridge between technical, subject matter experts and business teamsLead and develop a high performing teamMinimum Qualifications:10+ years in relevant work experience ideally with experience in finance, analytics, consulting, and/or strategy Financial acumenand experience leveraging data to derive actionable strategiesWell-versed in analytics, consumer insights and contractual documentsExcellent project/program management, organizational and process/workflow skillsExcellent relationship management and communication skillsStrong detail orientation with ability to manage a large, complex portfolioCollaborative team player and balance multiple priorities with tight deadlinesProvide strategic thought leadership, with an ability to learn quickly and drive resultsProficient in creating advanced level presentations and reporting dashboardsSalary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
