Experience within a SaaS organization providing complex business solutions along with strong leadership and ability to coach and develop sales account managers.Job DescriptionTheDirector, Solutionshas business and technical acumen and is experienced in transforming customer requirements into solutions that differentiateTekionfrom its competitors.They will drivekey global strategies and initiatives that are foundational acrossTekion’ssolution areas, such as overall Solution Sales strategy, planning, landing and change management, sales role definition, incentives and compensation, digital sales and partner strategy, segment, and industry GTM strategy. The team also forms the interface between the global field-based solution leaders andTekionfunctions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and grow group of professionals on the Solutions team Participates in pre-sales activities and assists the sales team in planning and driving new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities through customer meetings, capabilities presentations and evaluation of customer requirements for a fit with capabilitiesLeads creation of review materials as stipulated by the pursuit processProvides mentoring and training to others within the Solution Services organizationLeads customer discovery workshops to understand business issues/objectives, projects and problem statements of customers/prospectsStays current on technology changes in the market, competitive analysis and understanding differentiators between Tekion and its competitorsBuild meaningful, trusted relationships with dealer principals, department heads, and managementIdentify and qualify prospective dealer partnersUtilize your technology and industry expertise to understand unique dealer needs and identify ways that Tekion can enhance their business performanceWork collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to sell Tekion’s suite of products and ensure customer adoption, success and rapid value achievementMeet and exceed sales goalsSkills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience8+ years experience in Sales Management/Director roleProven track record leading sales teams  Strong knowledge of automotive industry and sales cyclesMicrosoft Office suite, SalesforceWilling to travel (fly) 50-75% Perks and BenefitsCompetitive compensation and generous stock options??100% employer-paid top-of-the-line medical, dental and vision coverage?Great benefits including unlimited PTO, parental leave and free snacks and beverages?The opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley’s most dominant and?successful companies??Be part of an early stage, hyper-growth start-up with the opportunity to grow and prosper???Work on the latest and coolest technologies – everything is home-grown and built ground-up??A dynamic work environment with a strong sense of community and collaboration??The open and transparent culture that encourages innovation, rewards performance and discourages hierarchy??Exciting opportunities for career growth and development??The salary range for this position is$129,200to $218,500.The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this positionacross applicable US locations.This position is also eligible for a (bonus or commission) whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance.The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Inaddition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.Current Tekion Employees – Please apply via Greenhouse Internal Job Board
