As the Director of Nursing, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence in resident care. Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality resident care
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
* Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care and services
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
* Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent required;
* Current state nursing license in good standing
Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in nursing administration, preferably in a long-term care setting
* Strong knowledge of resident rights, regulations, and best practices in long-term care
* Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of nursing professionals
* Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
