Director of Nursing (RN) - Med/Surg Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 annually, plus bonus, full benefits, and signing bonus
Job Overview: The Director of Nursing for the Med/Surg Unit will be responsible for the 24-hour management of the assigned unit, ensuring that patient care meets the standard of care. This leadership role requires a dedicated individual with a strong clinical background and management experience to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing services.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the Med/Surg unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care and safety. Manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and providing continuous professional development opportunities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and hospital efficiency. Monitor budget and resource allocation to ensure the unit's financial health. Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in strategic planning. Required Skills and Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BCLS Certification . RN Leadership Experience . Graduate of an  accredited school of Nursing , BSN required, MSN preferred. Minimum of  five (5) years clinical experience . Minimum of  two (2) years progressive management experience . Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is highly preferred. Experience in a Med/Surg environment.
