Danny's Home Health Care is seeking a Director of Accounting for our Home Health Care Agency.We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Accounting to join our team. As the Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strong background in financial management, risk analysis, and regulatory reporting.DutiesDevelop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's long-term financial stabilityOversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reportingConduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial risksManage tax accounting and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulationsProvide guidance on revenue management and cost accounting to optimize profitabilityPrepare and present financial reports to senior management and board of directorsCollaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial regulationsMonitor industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure the organization remains in complianceLead the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunitiesSkillsStrong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practicesProven experience in risk analysis and risk managementExpertise in tax accounting and complianceSolid understanding of financial management principles and practicesExperience with regulatory reporting requirementsProficiency in revenue management strategiesAbility to manage cost accounting processes effectivelyStrong technical accounting skillsExcellent leadership and communication abilitiesEducation
