Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) exists to improve the health of patients, members and the communities we serve. We are a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system of nine hospitals, a statewide health plan and a growing multi-specialty medical group. Our health plan serves more than 580,000 members statewide and offers Medicare Advantage, Medicaid (Centennial Care) and Commercial health plans. The Analytics Organization at PHS provides insights to our hospitals, medical groups, supportive services and the health plan. The Research, Development and Transition Informatics & Integrated Informatics department sits at the enterprise level, with access to Presbyterian Delivery System/Medical Group data (coming from electronic medical records), the Presbyterian Health Plan data (coming from claims) and all other data sources that spoke analytics may not reach.
The department uses this comprehensive dataset for 4 types of analytical products:
Integrated Identification and Stratification Engine :
Using a customer 360 view to target members and patients to various programs and interventions Program Evaluation and Recalibration:
Supporting program design through effectiveness analysis Cost and Opportunity Decision Support :
Providing senior C-suite leadership with retrospective insights and predictive forecasting/modelling on areas of cost savings/avoidance Innovative Healthcare Analytics :
Using the robust dataset to develop innovative prototypes using artificial intelligence, machine learning, image analysis, natural language processing and advanced statistical methodologies
The Director of Integrated Informatics provides hands-on leadership for analytics across PHS, particularly within the health plan - providing support for clinical analytics, risk adjustment, member outreach, population health, and medical drivers . 
This role leads a team of scientists and analysts to provide actionable insights and assist in the operationalization and measurement and drives integrated analytics for the population health and infectious disease departments. 
This is a fully remote eligible role and qualified candidates residing in eligible states will be considered. Ineligible states are Ohio, Washington, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years of Healthcare-related informatics leadership experience required. Must have prior experience with health plan clinical analytics , to include care management, medical drivers, outcomes analyses, and evaluation of programs.
Prior Director level experience preferred with at least 5-10 direct reports.  Prior experience with behavioral or mental health analytics is a plus. Experience in health services research, health/public policy, and health administration is preferred. Work closely with VP of Analytics Organization and appropriate PHS business stakeholders to develop vision, strategy, goals, and objectives for the Quality/Health Plan/System Services/ Delivery System Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and execute key descriptive and prescriptive analytics projects to improve organizational performance, reduce costs, increase operational efficiencies and provide new business opportunities Work with Hub leadership to ensure alignment with overall AO strategy and implementation of standardized practices, policies, and procedures across all spokes Lead, review and provide recommendations to design and integrate new analytical processes to translate data into actionable insights so as to enhance organizational analytical capabilities and support strategic business decision making Work with AO directors and business leadership to develop the strategic agenda, tactical execution plan and project pipeline for the Quality/Health Plan/System Services/ Delivery System Hold team accountable for executing advanced, predictive, and optimization reporting/analytics/ research to meet the needs of business leaders Proactively identify opportunities for new spoke specific descriptive and prescriptive analytics/reporting Provide guidance to teams with regards to selection and evaluation of products/tools/data to ensure that the proposed solution meets business, clinical and operational objectives Oversee and provide guidance to integrate analytical orientation to drive key success metrics related to cost leadership, exceptional experience and better health Collaborate with enterprise architects, database engineers and others IT stakeholders regarding improvements to analytics-related infrastructure and enterprise architecture. Coordinate the effective delivery of AO output to ensure outcomes that meet business leaders expectations Provide advice with interpreting and/or executing departmental and organizational standards, policies, and procedures to facilitate strategic goals and objectives of the organization Lead and support Program Management in the definition and implementation allowing effective collaboration on roadmaps, dependencies, and execution plans across analytical units and with applicable teams in the organization.
