Registered Dietitian and Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists within 6 months of hire. Physical Requirements
This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); and standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Also involves some exposure to cuts/punctures, blood-borne/airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people. Shift
Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am - 4:30pm; occasional weekends and holidays required. Job Summary
Performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of the nutrition care plan for patients. Provides education and counseling to patients on their nutritional needs. Ensures customer satisfaction and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources. Performs duties in compliance with performance improvement plans, TJC , and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. Serves as a nutrition educator for students, medical staff, health professionals, and/or general public. Serves as a role model, resource, and leader for other clinical dietitians. Exhibits nutrition expertise in specified area of practice. This position will be located in Kentucky Clinic/Chandler Hospital and will care for transplant patients. Experience working with adult transplant patients is preferred. Internal Employee Being Considered ( IEBC ) Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

No Preferred Education/Experience
Clinical nutrition experience in an acute care setting preferred. If candidate is not already registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists, they must obtain and provide proof of registration and licensure within 6 months of hire.
