Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Position is responsible for the nutritional assessment and management of pediatric Gastroentronology, Hepatology, and Nutrition patients. D o c u m e n t and assess f o o d r e c o r d s , c o mm un i c a t e information to the patient and care team. P a r t i c i p a t e i n division based specialty clinics. Celiac, Short Bowel, Healthy start, IBD, EOE, General GI. Provide dietary education to patients and team. Manage patient nutritional supplements and caloric intake needs. In collaboration with the care team assess and manage parenteral nutrition. E v a l u a t e a n d d e v e l o p p a t i e n t t e a c h i n g to o l s . Participate in new patient screening and assessment as directed. Participate in team meetings and educational opportunities. Work in partnership with nurse and provider team to establish needed dietary intervention, education and care. Serve as team dietary resource. Working Conditions Office and clinic setting with the possibility of an inpatient visit for a known patient. Locations include the main campus at Washington University Department of Pediatrics, St. Louis Childrenâ™s Hospital and all satellite office locations. Preferred Qualifications So m e e x pe r i e n c e i n m e d i c a l o ff i c e s e tt i n g. Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on work location. Two years of work experience in adult or pediatric dietetics. Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements). Grade C11 Salary Range $55,000.00 - $85,300.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
