Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks• Effectively problem solve• Work independently and as a team member• Collect input from staff for effective decision making• Be flexible and open to new ideas• Maintain a flexible list of tasks• Develop working processes/procedures to improve Neighborhood House operations and development program• Data entry of financial income and complete bank deposits• Pull financial reports monthly and submit to accountant and Executive Director• Process, print, and route donor acknowledgement letters• Monthly invoicing• Monthly reconciliation of income• Manage quality control, internal training, and use of donor database systems• Create and generate queries and reports• Data clean-up and maintenance• Formulate and implement strategies for short-and long-term giving outcomes• Meet activity and revenue goals through personal outreach and regular travel• Submit contact/action reports, moves, and prospect management activities• Ensure compliance with prospect management guidelines• Communicate closely with Executive Director and capital campaign cabinet• Participate in development activities• Create and maintain donation website• Answer phones and route incoming calls• Maintain and order office supplies• Maintain petty cash• Compose correspondence• Recommend new approaches, procedures, and processes• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned• Periodically update website content
Requirements
• Associates or College degree preferred or a combination of education and experience• Efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks• Effectively problem solve• Work independently and as a team member• Collect input from staff for effective decision making• Be flexible and open to new ideas• Maintain a flexible list of tasks• Develop working processes/procedures to improve Neighborhood House operations and development program• Experience and proficiency with MS Office, Google Docs, and CRM/database systems• Knowledge of advancement data products preferred• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and tact• Excellent communication skills• Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail• Strong relationship building/interpersonal skills• Sense of humor and interest in supporting an amazing team• Desire and willingness to meet deadlines• Be a team player• Work collaboratively• Learn fundraising principles and techniques• Stay current in best practices• Demonstrate integrity, positive attitude, diplomacy, tact, courtesy, and a sense of humor• Excellent written and oral communications skills• Strong interpersonal communications and motivational skills• Demonstrate a willingness and ability to support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment
