Detailing Manager

Job Title: Detail ManagerReports to: Territory ManagerNature of work:Under limited supervision, the Detail Manager effectively communicates with customers and employees to determine the type of service necessary and the time needed for completion. The detail manager is responsible for quality control and output of the detailing & wash departments. Also manages all necessary product inventory and equipment needed to perform the required duties.Typical Duties:Helps maintain a safe and organized workspaceCommunicates with Service Advisors and Technicians to facilitate auto-placementCommunicates with Service Advisor regarding detail services, repairs, and estimates fortime completion* Performs vehicle drop-off inspection, recommends maintenance & documents existingdamagesIdentifies, manages, and orders all detailing department products & equipmentFacilitates and conducts all detailing department dutiesPerforms other duties as requestedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Demonstrates extreme attention to detailAbility to analyze written and verbal instructionsAbility to write, present and respond to customers and staff members in a professionalmanner* Ability to manage, train and support other detailing and shop assistant personnelAbility to handle high-stress situationsCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSE / OTHER REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCandidates must have a valid driving license and clean driving record
