Job summary
Tesla's Silicon Development Group is looking for a Design for Test EngineerDrive/push state of the art in testability to enhance product coverage and qualityOptimize test cost while delivering very low DPPMs
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Define and implement various DFT features• Participate/contribute in silicon bring-up, characterization, and silicon test• Help achieve low DPPM through high quality test
Requirements
• Knowledge of Testability techniques and features (1149.1, 1149.6, 1687, 1500, Scan, Built-in-Self-Test, Loop-Back etc.) covering digital logic domain, embedded memories and PHY/IO's• Well versed in JTAG/1500/1687 networks. BSDL, ICL and PDL knowledge preferable• Knowledge of on-chip clock control, test compression, traditional and advanced logic fault models such as stuck-at, transition, cell-aware static and dynamic, bridging, timing aware is required• Experience in Scan/LBIST flow development, ATPG, coverage analysis and pattern verification is required• Experience working with Cadence DFT tools (Modus and Genus) or Mentor DFT tools (Tessent and MBIST architect) preferred• Strong knowledge of logic & circuit design fundamentals is required• Knowledge of Verilog or System-Verilog is required• Working knowledge of TCL, python (or another scripting language like Perl) is preferred• Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional abilities• Post Silicon experience in Pattern conversion for Testers, Pattern Bring-up & Debug, Silicon Characterization etc. is a plus• Experience or familiarity in back-end chip design, Timing, CDC flows is a plus• Experience in MBIST implementation and MBIST algorithms, IO loopback is an added advantage
