The Department Senior will assist in all roles and responsibilities of the lead. This position will assist in all aspects of overseeing the manufacturing operation for assigned areas. In the absence of the lead this position will fill in for the Lead.
Execute responsibilities set by the lead Assist with production requirements Assist with workload balance Provide production feedback reports to product group Train on process and specification guidelines Assist with calibration of tools Assist in problem solving and trouble shooting on production related issues Assist in bottleneck areas Assist in leading, directing, and motivating work cells while meeting our safety, quality, delivery, and production objectives Learn to oversee manufacturing processes – understand department's production area opportunities and challenges Understand planning and communication on daily assignments and rotations Ensure all safety policies and practices are followed Become knowledgeable with employee safety and quality expectations: demonstrate understanding & ability to carry necessary steps of related programs and policies Other duties as assigned Beginning Leadership skills – lead with service & humility while empowering team members Drive for Results – ability to manage multiple priorities and root cause identification skills Ability to set an example and lead by example Dependability – be on time and work from beginning of shift to the end of shift Strong communication skills to effectively work with others and develop partnerships Gain understanding of production workflows, scheduling, staffing, and workload balance From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
