AppleOne is assisting a customer-oriented commercial battery company in their search for a Delivery Driver! This is a great direct hire opportunity located in Arden Hills, MN. The Delivery Driver will work closely with Sales staff, Warehouse Associates, and the Branch Manager to ensure the best possible customer experience is provided. Duties for a Delivery Driver include:
· Deliveries when needed. Deliveries will be within 1 ½ hour radius of store location.
If there are farther deliveries, schedule will be accommodated. The delivery truck in Arden Hills is a big box truck, smaller deliveries made with pick-up.
· Works in liaison with the inside sales rep, warehouse clerk, and Branch manager.
· During deliveries, possess an upbeat, friendly and professional demeanor to customers · Various daily tasks shared amongst coworkers
· Maintaining batteries, charging, filling
· Maintaining up keep in warehouse, scrap, floors, garbage, etc.
· Advise customers the correct product for the right application. (training provided)
· Picking/labeling daily batteries, as well as daily deliveries
· Organization of skids in warehouse
· Inventory management, rotation
· Accountable for placing orders accurately and daily invoicing.
· Call on existing or potential sales customers
· Lifting up to 80 lbs
· Will be cross trained with warehouse clerk and sales rep's duties.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Air Breaks Endorsement and DOT Health Card
· CDL Not required
· Ability to complete job duties listed; including ability to lift/push/pull up to 80 lbs
· Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with a team
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
· Pay: $20/hour to start
