Job Title: Dealership Used Car Technician Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Used Car Technician to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, specifically focused on pre-owned vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on pre-owned vehicles to identify any mechanical issues
- Repair and replace parts as necessary, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and services performed on each vehicle
Qualifications:
- Certification from an accredited automotive technical program or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of experience working as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on used vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
